What it is
No lectures you can’t use at three in the morning.
A live, practical session — four hours, a small group, built on one idea: the partner’s voice is an active part of the birth room.
What he says, and how he says it, changes what happens around him. This workshop takes that seriously — and gives you a way to teach it plainly, without jargon.
It comes out of thirty years in the room, and a book, Men, Love & Birth, that’s been in men’s hands for over a decade.

About me
Thirty years in and around the birth room.
I’m Mark Harris — thirty years in and around the birth room. I’ve spent most of that time watching men try to help and not quite knowing how.
This is what I’d teach them, if I had them in a room for a few hours. And now, teaching you to teach them is the better use of my time.

Is it accredited?
No. You get a CPD certificate of attendance, mapped to the NMC revalidation requirements — not an accredited qualification. I’d rather be honest about that than dress it up.
Do I need to know anything about NLP or hypnosis?
No. This is about language and communication in the birth room — plain, practical, and usable.
How is it delivered?
